What a wonderful place to live!!! I can’t say enough good things about this apartment complex. What you see (on the tour) is what you get (in your unit). I’ve had several friends tell me recently that at their apartment buildings, the units they were shown as model units were nothing similar to what they actually got. Well not at Eden Glen! They consist of beautiful kitchens with black and white granite countertops, dark flooring and cabinets, modern light grey fresh paint jobs and nice clean light beige carpeting. The lawn care company and staff keep the outside of the building and landscaping so well maintained and beautiful. I love bringing my family and friends over to show it off. The beautiful pool is also always clean with comfy chairs to relax on. On top of all that the office staff and maintenance team are amazing!!! They almost always answer the phone anytime you call and if you have to leave a message they are extremely quick to get back to you. Very friendly and willing to answer any questions or concerns you might have. I recently had a clogged sink in my bathroom and low water pressure coming out the faucet. My air conditioner was also not running well. In less than 30 minutes they had maintenance come over and they fixed both of those problems!! I was left with what looked like a brand new sink from how well they wiped it out with amazing water pressure and no clog…and a brand new air conditioning unit! I was so impressed and happy! They truly care about their tenants and are happy to help in all circumstances. Since this is an honest review, the only negative I would have to say is thin floors (you can sometimes hear the neighbors walking) and the halls could use a makeover. The washing machines could use a deep clean (I don’t think all the residents know to leave the door open after using a front loader). Don’t let this turn you away though…there will be slight flaws in any apartment you rent ( believe me, I’ve lived in several). This is one of the best! Unbeatable rent prices for the area too. A lovely, safe area in Eden Prairie surrounded by trees and close to all the shopping. I will be calling this place home for a while 😊 thanks Eden Glen!
I would advice ahead of time for anyone looking for apartment to avoid this this apartment. Mentainance is very poor. Bathroom leaking for the past 2months with mould growth all over the place. I submitted a work order and until today nothing has been done. I submitted a request to break my lease and they say the option to break lease won't be approved. Please watch before you step in this trap. Apartment is dirty with dirty carpets. Watch out! Watch out!
I am honestly bummed out that I'm even writing this review. My wife and I lived in Eden Glen for 2 years and we have 0 complaints. The apartment is super spacious, we had a King side bed, a dresser, and 2 night stands in the master bedroom. And a big L shaped desk and queen sized bed in the 2nd bedroom. The living room was so spacious we actually ordered an extra seat for our sectional. I wish the bathroom was slightly bigger but for the 2 of us it was sufficient. In our 2 years we only had 2 minor maintenance requests that were handled in a very timely manner. We had our rent on auto-pay and had little to no interaction with management, but they were always super pleasant and helpful, even as we moved out, they were helpful and kept us updated on all things (mail forwarding, deposit, etc). Our neighbors were diverse and always pleasant. We've never had to complain about anyone or had any complaints against us. Overall, I would 10/10 recommend Eden Glenn to anyone. The only reason we moved was to get closer to work and family. And we wouldn't hesitate to move back if we needed to.
We lived at Eden Glen for the past 3 years. The individual units are fine, but the community is not impressive. Some residents are rude and not considerate of others - constantly spilling food items in the lobby or elevator and not cleaning up after themselves. People leave their trash sitting on the floor next to the trash shoot. Our next door neighbors were so loud….it made working from home a real headache. Also, if you have a unit on an upper floor, have fun carrying up groceries. There used to be shared carts to help, but residents keep them in their apartments so only they can use!
Felt being discriminated by this place. Applied and filled all the paperwork. The agent told me it would take 3-5 business days to process and make a decision. Fine. However, on the 4th business day about 2pm, receiving a letter saying that we HAVE TO send them a proof BEFORE the 5th business day stating that we have paid the $300 cleaning fees due at Texas, OTHERWISE we will be rejected. Wow... I mean, I’m ok if they are doubtful about my rental history or if they need some proof of some payment. I’m fine with it. The matter is the tone and how they communicate... feel like being treated like a criminal...I don’t understand how can you talk like that to your customers. I mean, after Texas, I’ve been staying in SF for half a year and 13 month in MN. Neither of them talked to me like that it had issues of my rental history. Already approved by a higher-end and more expensive apart now and they either have no question about my rental history. I still don’t understand why this happened and why Eden Glen treated me like that. I still feel discriminated and hurt so far, even though I’ve been approved by another place. Really upset about my experience.
