Midland sent a tech to do the yearly inspection of my furnace. They had recently installed a new one so it was running fine. I always find Midland reliable, honest, and fair. Esteban was a really good tech today. Personable and knowledgeable. Efficient too. And thorough.
My AC stopped working on Wednesday afternoon, they had a guy out here next day, and it was fixed by Thursday afternoon. Great work, and the technician, Josh, was one of the friendliest and most informative people I've ever had the pleasure of working with. Price was cheaper than expected, too! Definitely going to be calling on these guys for any future issues, and will highly recommend them to anyone else in the area.
We just purchased a home and when our mini split broke, we worked with 4 other companies that charged an arm and a leg to simply be told "Yes, your system is broken but we can't fix it"! We found Midland through the mini split manufacturer's site. From our first interaction onwards, they have been honest, clear and put our needs first. Not only did they find the issue, but they resolved it! All while working with our insurance company. The team embodies professionalism, service and genuine care for their customers.
Please read this review. I paid the $99 to have Midland come out to check a disconnected gas line for my heater. Within less than 5 minutes, the Field Rep diagnosed that he could not fix the issue. If I am to pay $99 for the repair person to say they cannot fix my issue, I expect that I can ask them about another small issue I had with my AC unit. The representative inspected the AC unit and wrote up a quote for the AC unit repair. I was charged a total of $139 for the 30 minute consultation visit. I called the main office to dispute the additional charges. The rep on the phone scoffed and almost laughed at me over the additional $40. He eventually told me that their company would mail me a check for the $40. I never received the check. I later emailed their customer service support contact explaining the entire situation. They acknowledged that original email, but when I emailed them again asking when I could expect my $40, they never replied. I followed up on my un-responded to email 3 days later, and still have yet to receive a reply. While I know $40 is not a lot of money, I still feel obligated to share my experience with this company. They were unprofessional, rude, and created an overall poor experience for me. I'm glad I did not give them my business and I went with another company to complete the repair work.
Midland Heating and Cooling has been fantastic to work with for our furnace that needed to be replaced this year and our A/C install 2 years ago.They took care of every aspect from scheduling the install, duct cleaning, keeping in touch with me as we had to work around renovation projects and change the date a few times, to the final walk through and answered all of my questions. I would highly recommend Midland.
